A partir desta quinta-feira (1º), a Secretaria da Educação do Estado de São Paulo (Seduc-SP) dará início a uma nova fase de consulta pública para a adesão ao programa de escolas cívico-militares. As 300 escolas que manifestaram interesse em aderir ao programa agora devem consultar suas comunidades escolares para que opinem e votem sobre a adoção do modelo. O voto deve ser registrado pela Secretaria Escolar Digital (SED) até 15 de agosto.
Se alguma escola não atingir a quantidade necessária de votos válidos, haverá mais duas rodadas de consulta: a segunda entre 20 e 22 de agosto e a terceira, se necessário, entre 27 e 29 de agosto, ambas também pela SED.
A Seduc-SP espera começar o projeto em 2025 com 45 unidades educacionais, permitindo um acompanhamento detalhado da implantação do modelo e a avaliação da possibilidade de expansão nos anos seguintes.
Quem pode participar da consulta pública:
- Mãe, pai ou responsável pelos alunos menores de 16 anos de idade;
- Estudantes a partir de 16 anos de idade, ou seus familiares em caso de abstenção de alunos dessa faixa etária (um voto por família);
- Professores e outros profissionais da equipe escolar.
Se mais de 45 comunidades escolares manifestarem interesse no programa, critérios de desempate serão adotados para a seleção das unidades. A previsão é de que as escolas selecionadas sejam conhecidas até o final de agosto, coincidindo com a primeira etapa do processo de matrículas e transferências na rede estadual de ensino. Até o início de setembro, estudantes poderão registrar intenção de transferência para essas unidades ou outras escolas da rede.
Currículo e processo seletivo das escolas cívico-militares
As escolas cívico-militares seguirão o Currículo Paulista, organizado pela Secretaria da Educação. A contratação e formação de professores continuarão sendo realizadas como nas outras modalidades de ensino. A Seduc-SP também será responsável pela seleção dos monitores.
A Secretaria da Segurança Pública apoiará a Secretaria da Educação no processo seletivo e emitirá declarações sobre o comportamento e eventuais processos criminais ou administrativos dos candidatos a monitores. A SSP também participará do desenvolvimento de atividades extracurriculares, organização e segurança escolar. A seleção dos policiais da reserva, que atuarão como monitores, caberá à Educação e terá início após as consultas públicas. Para escolas municipais, a Segurança Pública colaborará com as prefeituras, e a seleção ficará a critério das secretarias municipais.
O investimento nas escolas cívico-militares será o mesmo já previsto nas unidades regulares. A contratação dos monitores, considerando a expectativa final de 100 escolas cívico-militares, custará R$ 7,2 milhões.

Curriculum and selection process for civic-military schools
Civic-military schools will follow the Paulista Curriculum, organized by the Department of Education. Teacher hiring and training will remain the same as in other teaching modalities. Seduc-SP will also handle the selection of monitors.
The Department of Public Security will support the Department of Education in the selection process and issue declarations regarding the behavior and any criminal or administrative proceedings involving monitor candidates. The SSP will also participate in extracurricular activities, school organization, and security. The selection of reserve police officers, who will act as monitors, will be conducted by the Department of Education and will begin after the public consultations. For municipal schools, Public Security will collaborate with the municipalities, and selection will be at the discretion of the municipal departments.
Investment in civic-military schools will be the same as in regular units. Hiring monitors, considering the final expectation of 100 civic-military schools, will cost R$ 7.2 million.
