🎶 O rádio chegou ao Brasil no início do século XX, trazendo uma revolução na comunicação e no entretenimento. Grandes nomes da música popular brasileira nasceram com o rádio, que na época tinha o formato de shows ao vivo com plateia e transmitidos pelas ondas do AM (amplitude modulada). 🎶

Em homenagem a esse período encantador, no dia 17 de setembro, a partir das 16h, Ribeirão Preto será palco do evento “O Rei do Rádio e Luiz Aguiar convidam”, um momento de pura nostalgia e emoção ao som das músicas que marcaram época na voz de Nelson Gonçalves.

🎤 O espetáculo, que acontecerá no Absolutto Espaço de Eventos, será comandado pelo radialista Luiz Gonzaga de Aguiar, um ícone com 85 anos de idade e mais de 50 anos de carreira. Ele foi repórter esportivo e se destacou na Rádio PRA 7, em Ribeirão Preto, como narrador esportivo. Além disso, fez parte do icônico tempo da Rádio Bandeirantes e apresentou “Os Brotos Comandam” na era da Jovem Guarda. 🎤

O tributo a Nelson Gonçalves, um dos maiores cantores brasileiros de todos os tempos, tem como objetivo proporcionar ao público lembranças únicas da época de ouro do rádio. “O Rei do Rádio não poderia ter um título mais apropriado do que este. Trago o meu microfone desde PRA7, Guaíra, Rádio 79, Rádio Barretos, Rádio Cultura, Rádio Renascença, Rede Tupi, junto comigo para esse evento do Rei do Rádio”, revela o radialista Luiz Aguiar, um dos idealizadores do projeto ao lado das produtoras Pâmela Gomes e Daniella Aguiar.

No palco, o cantor e compositor José Rubens Sales e a cantora Fabiana Sberni, acompanhados pelos músicos do grupo Choro da Casa, João Roberto (violão 7 cordas), Alexandre Peres (cavaquinho) e Ricardo Perez (percussão), irão emocionar o público com os principais sucessos do Rei do Rádio, Nelson Gonçalves.

📀 “Sinto um prazer imenso em produzir O Rei do Rádio. Acredito que, do ponto de vista cultural, o projeto é necessário para resgatar as raízes primordiais da música brasileira. Ele se configurou como uma verdadeira aula destinada não apenas à nova geração, mas também aos que vivenciaram aquela época, proporcionando uma emocionante oportunidade de reviver as lembranças marcantes que permearam esse período”, diz Pâmela Gomes. 📀

O repertório inclui canções como “Volta do Boêmio”, “Risque”, “Negue” e outras que marcaram a carreira do eterno Rei do Rádio. Composições de Adelino Moreira, Sergio Bittencourt, Silvio Caldas, Noel Rosa, Wilson Batista, Cartola, Capiba, entre outros, serão apresentadas em estilos variados, acompanhados de convidados especiais.

Essa homenagem é uma forma de manter viva a memória e o talento de Nelson Gonçalves, celebrando o legado musical deixado por ele e permitindo que as novas gerações apreciem sua arte e se conectem com a rica história da música brasileira.

🎶 Radio arrived in Brazil in the early 20th century, bringing a revolution in communication and entertainment. Great names in Brazilian popular music were born with radio, which at the time had live shows with an audience and was transmitted on AM waves (amplitude modulation). 🎶

In homage to this enchanting period, on September 17th, starting at 4 PM, Ribeirão Preto will host the event “The Radio King and Luiz Aguiar invite,” a moment of pure nostalgia and emotion with the songs that marked an era in the voice of Nelson Gonçalves.

The show, which will take place at the Absolutto Event Space, will be hosted by radio broadcaster Luiz Gonzaga de Aguiar, an icon with 85 years of age and over 50 years of career. He was a sports reporter and stood out at Rádio PRA 7 in Ribeirão Preto as a sports narrator. He was also part of the iconic era of Rádio Bandeirantes and hosted “Os Brotos Comandam” during the Jovem Guarda era. 🎤

The tribute to Nelson Gonçalves, one of the greatest Brazilian singers of all time, aims to provide the audience with unique memories of the golden age of radio. “The Radio King could not have a more appropriate title than this. I bring my microphone from PRA7, Guaíra, Rádio 79, Rádio Barretos, Rádio Cultura, Rádio Renascença, Rede Tupi, with me to this Radio King event,” reveals radio broadcaster Luiz Aguiar, one of the project’s co-founders alongside producers Pâmela Gomes and Daniella Aguiar.

On stage, singer and songwriter José Rubens Sales and singer Fabiana Sberni, accompanied by the musicians from Choro da Casa group, João Roberto (7-string guitar), Alexandre Peres (cavaquinho), and Ricardo Perez (percussion), will move the audience with the greatest hits of the Radio King, Nelson Gonçalves.
