No domingo, dia 20 de agosto, a cidade de Ribeirão Preto se prepara para receber a vibrante e inclusiva 19ª Parada LGBTQIAPN+. A concentração, que promete ser um espetáculo de cores e alegria, terá início a partir das 13 horas, nos cruzamentos das avenidas 9 de Julho com a Portugal. Este evento emocionante é organizado pela ONG Arco-Íris, com o apoio da Secretaria da Cultura e Turismo de Ribeirão Preto, e promete uma celebração de diversidade e identidade que alcança todas as faixas etárias.
🎶 Cores e Harmonia na Praça Hélio Smidt 🎶
A Praça Hélio Smidt, localizada no cruzamento das avenidas Nove de Julho e Portugal, será o ponto de partida da concentração. Com a vibrante apresentação do grupo Maracatu Chapéu de Sol, a atmosfera festiva começará a ganhar vida. O trajeto, com duração aproximada de 50 minutos, seguirá até a Arena Eurobike, na avenida Costábile Romano, onde a celebração atingirá o auge.
✨ Décadas de Luta e Identidade Celebradas na 19ª Edição ✨
O tema desta edição, “Na diversidade encontro minha identidade – A arte e a beleza de ser quem você é”, celebra com orgulho quase duas décadas de luta e resistência da população trans e travestis. Esta Parada é um tributo às suas existências resilientes diante das adversidades de gênero. Pela primeira vez, o evento foi incorporado ao orçamento municipal da Prefeitura de Ribeirão Preto, através da Secretaria de Cultura e Turismo.

A Parada contará com dois trios elétricos e já possui a confirmação de cerca de 200 caravanas. O evento culminará em uma série de emocionantes shows artísticos, incluindo deslumbrantes performances de drags queen, programadas para encantar o público por volta das 22h30, na área reservada da Arena Eurobike.

Este ano, a Parada foi meticulosamente planejada, graças ao apoio financeiro do governo municipal e a valiosa parceria com a Eurobike. Fábio de Jesus, presidente da ONG Arco-Íris, expressou sua alegria pela inclusão da Parada no orçamento municipal após quase duas décadas de luta pela visibilidade e reconhecimento. “Conquistamos esse suporte e estamos felizes por isso”, declarou ele.

Hélio Smidt Square, located at the intersection of Nove de Julho and Portugal avenues, will serve as the starting point for the gathering. With the vibrant performance by the Maracatu Chapéu de Sol group, the festive atmosphere will come to life. The route, lasting about 50 minutes, will continue to the Arena Eurobike on Costábile Romano avenue, where the celebration will reach its peak.
✨ Decades of Struggle and Identity Celebrated in the 19th Edition ✨
The theme of this edition, “In diversity, I find my identity – The art and beauty of being who you are,” proudly celebrates nearly two decades of struggle and resilience by the transgender and transvestite community. This Parade is a tribute to their resilient existence in the face of gender-related adversities. For the first time, the event has been incorporated into the municipal budget of the Ribeirão Preto City Hall, through the Secretariat of Culture and Tourism.

The Parade will feature two electric floats and has already secured the participation of around 200 caravans. The event will culminate in a series of thrilling artistic performances, including dazzling drag queen acts, scheduled to enchant the audience around 10:30 PM in the reserved area of the Arena Eurobike.

This year, the Parade has been meticulously planned, thanks to the financial support of the municipal government and the valuable partnership with Eurobike. Fábio de Jesus, president of the Arco-Íris NGO, expressed his joy for the Parade’s inclusion in the municipal budget after nearly two decades of advocating for visibility and recognition. “We’ve gained this support and we’re delighted about it,” he stated.
